SK8 House Virginia Beach LLC and SK8 House Newport News LLC Waiver Of Liability
In consideration of being allowed to participate in any activity at SK8 House Virginia Beach LLC and SK8 House Newport News LLC, I, the undersigned, or the parent/legal guardian of any minor entering the building, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Assumption of Risk: I understand that physical activity involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of falling, collision with other customers or objects, and injury resulting from such incidents. I voluntarily assume all such risks and agree that SK8 House Virginia Beach LLC and SK8 House Newport News LLC, as well as its employees, agents, and representatives, shall not be held liable for any injuries or damages that may occur while in the building.
2. Release of Liability: I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless SK8 House Virginia Beach LLC and SK8 House Newport News LLC, including its owners, employees, agents, and representatives, from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or my child while in the building at SK8 House Virginia Beach LLC and SK8 House Newport News LLC.
3. Compliance with Rules: I agree to comply with all the rules, regulations, and instructions provided by SK8 House Virginia Beach LLC and SK8 House Newport News LLC. I understand that failure to follow these rules may result in immediate removal from the premises without any refund.
4. Personal Property: I understand that SK8 House Virginia Beach LLC and SK8 House Newport News LLC are not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal property that may occur while in the building
5. Medical Treatment: In the event of an injury or illness, I authorize SK8 House Virginia Beach LLC and SK8 House Newport News LLC and its employees, agents, and representatives to seek medical treatment, including emergency medical services, on my behalf or on behalf of my child, if necessary. I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of such treatment.
6. Photo and Video Release: I grant SK8 House Virginia Beach LLC and SK8 House Newport News LLC permission to photograph or record me or my child while in the building and to use such photographs or recordings for promotional and marketing purposes, without any compensation to me.
7. Severability: If any provision of this waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Right to Refuse Entry: SK8 House Virginia Beach LLC and SK8 House Newport News LLC reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any customer(s) from the premises if they engage in inappropriate behavior, pose a safety risk to others, or fail to comply with SK8 House Virginia Beach LLC and SK8 House Newport News LLC facility rules and guidelines. Our priority is to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors.
I have read this waiver carefully and fully understand its contents. I am aware that by acknowledging this waiver, I am releasing certain legal rights. I acknowledge this waiver voluntarily and of my own free will by entering the building.
SK8 House Virginia Beach LLC and SK8 House Newport News LLC House Policies
MINOR AND ADULT POLICIES
Persons under the age of 18 may only enter the premises with a guardian who is at least 25 years of age with a valid government-issued ID. 1 adult may accompany up to 4 minors. Any minors left unattended will be asked to leave the building. Persons of the age of 18 are required to have a valid and government-issued ID before entering the building. SK8 House Virginia Beach LLC and SK8 House Newport News LLC reserve the right to refuse service to customers who do not adhere to this policy upon entering the building.
SPECTATOR POLICY * APPLIES TO SK8 HOUSE NEWPORT NEWS ONLY - Effective 1/12/24
Starting at 4 pm on Friday and Saturday, all guests must pay to enter the building. There is a $7 spectator fee for non-skaters. Guests who want to roller skate must pay $12 for SK8 admission and skate rentals (if needed). Guests leaving the building must pay to re-enter starting at 4 pm. Minors without an accompanying adult will be asked to leave the building immediately.
IDENTIFICATION
To consume alcoholic beverages, you must establish that you are at least 21 years of age. You must have a valid identification card issued by a state or governmental agency containing your photograph, date of birth, height, sex, and color of eyes. SK8 House Virginia Beach LLC and SK8 House Newport News LLC are unable to accept forms of identification that are expired, cracked, altered, or damaged in any way.
SMOKING
No smoking on the premises, including vaporizers and electronic cigarettes. No pipe, cigar smoking, snuff, or chewing tobacco.
LOITERING
Loitering on these premises or in the adjacent parking areas is strictly prohibited.
OUTSIDE FOOD & DRINKS
Food and beverages not prepared and/or served by SK8 House Virginia Beach LLC and SK8 House Newport News LLC are strictly prohibited.
DRESS CODE
Appropriate, clean attire is required at all SK8 House Family Entertainment Center locations. SK8 House Family Entertainment Center reserves the right to modify the dress code guidelines for any reason, including or due to local or seasonal conditions or special events.
Persons wearing torn or soiled clothing will be admitted at the discretion of management.
1. No hats, ripped clothing, jewelry, or visible tattoos with offensive language or imagery.
2. Shoes and shirts are required.
3. Sunglasses may not be worn on-premises.
4. We do not allow clothing that exposes underwear or excessive portions of the skin, which may be viewed as inappropriate in a family environment.
5. No perceived evidence of gang affiliation.
6. First Responders, Military and Veteran Motorcycle Associations, please provide proper identification if in riding apparel. No offensive patches on riding apparel.
7. NO OPEN CARRY of firearms permitted except by sworn law enforcement personnel.
FILMING/PHOTOGRAPHY
SK8 House Virginia Beach LLC and SK8 House Newport News LLC encourage our guests to make and share memories in a fun, social environment. However, we kindly request that our guests adhere to the following policies regarding the use of cameras on our premises:
1. Permission is required for any filming or photography intended for commercial use, including journalism.
2. Filming or photography of other guests or staff members requires their express permission.
3. No filming or photography of games to gain an unfair playing advantage.
4. No use of tripods or other equipment, which might interfere with the ability of other guests to enjoy their SK8 House Virginia Beach LLC and SK8 House Newport News LLC experience, without prior written permission.
5. We reserve the right to revoke permission for the use of photographic or video equipment at any time for any reason.
To provide the best customer experience, please acknowledge the following: Outside gifts, balloons, and cake/desserts are not allowed to be brought inside SK8 House unless a party room has been reserved. A payment paid in FULL is required for any party room reservation. At SK8 House, we do not limit your skating or jungle gym time (jungle gym only available at Virginia Beach). We sell all-day/night passes and/or rentals that can be used throughout the day/night (No re-entry fee does not apply to Adult SK8 Night). Feel free to take your time and enjoy the entirety of our space! We are cashless! Cards & electronic payment only, please! No outside food or drinks are permitted within the building.
